Abstract

This policy paper is prepared as part of the AGS pilot project, with the aim to bring together three issues. ECEC, Roma inclusion, and use of EU funds in the coming 2014-2020 funding period. The paper gives a brief overview of how ECEC can play a central role in Roma inclusion and how many of these services are still not accessible for Romani children and parents. The paper introduces recent developments in EU policies and then formulates recommendations for the finalization of the EU regulatory framework.
