Additional Information:
Written for a book on forgeries and religion, Partridge decided to work on a short history of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, since the document is still mentioned in both right wing Christian and Islamic popular literature. In this, he was assisted by his then colleague, Ron Geaves, who provided information on the Islamic literature in particular. The chapter, roughly 80% of which was written by Partridge, demonstrates the contemporary popularity of this anti-Semitic text.
