Abstract

Accessible websites are websites that can be used by all kinds of users, including those with one or more disabilities. In this paper we focus on accessibility for blind users, although a similar approach could be adopted for other disabilities. The originality of our approach consists of focusing on usability rather than technical accessibility: a combination of design and presentation techniques allows to deliver highly accessible websites at a reasonable cost, i.e. a cost that all developers can afford.
