Abstract

Examines the challenges of characterising unregistered commercial relationships, specifically quasi-partnership companies (QPCs). Reviews the emergence of QPCs, the factors by which they are identified, and the extent to which they are distinguishable from close companies. Considers the significance of a QPC characterisation, the implications of customised arrangements and shareholder agreements, and potential future developments.
