Abstract

The conductance fluctuations deltaG of superconducting squares are examined. In the diffusive and strongly disordered regimes, deltaG increases as the superconducting order parameter DELTA is increased from zero, reaching a maximum when the superconducting coherence length is of order the localisation length of the normal background. In weakly disordered systems, deltaG decreases monotonically with increasing DELTA.
