Kleen and Green Motoring Solutions Ltd has developed a novel highly effective system which can be retrofitted to petrol and diesel engines to increase the efficiency of the combustion cycle, thus resulting in lower emissions and increased fuel efficiency. The system has been planned to be experimentally assessed and verified on an engine dynamometer. Lancaster University was appointed by Kleen & Green to fully assess the impact of the addition of the system to the engine by monitoring and analysing exhaust emissions, fuel consumption and power output pre- and post- modification. The work will include comprehensive data of combined pre- and post-modification tests on exhaust emissions, fuel consumption and power output. Measurement data will be compared to give further indications of improvements made by the system. The report presents the findings mainly in this project.
