Abstract

This model maps Bloom’s Taxonomy onto the Double Diamond design process to support the development of open briefs in project‑based learning. It aligns cognitive stages of Bloom's taxonomy with the divergent and convergent phases of the design process, helping educators structure learning activities and assessments that emphasise exploration, reframing, iteration, and creation. This upload includes the visual model and two accompanying worksheets (print and online) for use in curriculum and assessment design.
