Abstract

In this study, we develop a compact, practitioner‐oriented fitting framework that delivers smooth, differentiable, and easily embeddable formulas for L ‐subshell Auger for Auger yields a i in elements with atomic numbers relying on a recent comprehensive experimental compilation published by us. Our approach adopts a piecewise quadratic model for in three Z ‐windows (40–49, 50–74, 75–92) and cubic and quadratic models for and , respectively. We report the fit coefficients and overall RMS deviations for each case and visualize model trends to guide use in codes and uncertainty‐aware workflows. The formulation provides a compact surrogate for tabulated values, enabling fast evaluation, stable interpolation, and straightforward propagation into analytical and Monte‐Carlo pipelines. In addition, new theoretical calculations based on the multi‐configuration Dirac–Fock method have been carried out for selected elements and are presented in this work.
