Abstract

This study examines the link between entrepreneurship and sustainable development in Bangladesh, aiming to determine if entrepreneurial efforts truly support sustainable growth or simply drive economic advancement. Using data from 2016-2022 sourced from the United Nations, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), and the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), we analyze key entrepreneurial metrics like Self-Employment Rate (SE) (%) and Entrepreneurship’s total Contribution to GDP Growth (%) in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results highlight the potential and challenges of combining entrepreneurship with sustainability in the context of Bangladesh.
