Abstract

This chapter discusses industry-academic collaborative networks emanating from business schools in the United Kingdom, informed by an analysis of one such network. We set this presentation in the context of debates about business schools that are currently exercising the business and management academic community. These debates focus upon the extent of the contribution of business schools to management theory and practice.
