Abstract

This presentation will explore how leaders use reflective and reflexive learning approaches during and after leadership development programmes to develop their leadership identity through relationships with others over a period of time. The paper’s contribution adds to our limited understanding of how leadership identity is shaped over time, through social processes, often triggered through learning events on formal leadership programmes.
