Abstract
This paper examines the home care sector through the lens of the Internet of Things (IoT). Because IoT technology contains a large number of security risks, the paper analyzes cybersecurity threats in home care automation and conducts an analysis of these risks. In addition, two surveys were conducted, one for end-users and the other for home care providers, both of which provided valuable information and outcomes that could be used to analyze attitudes within the target group. The results of this study can also be used to create a strategy for entering the IoT security industry.
