Abstract

Magnetooptic oscillations of a new type have been observed in the intensity of the recombination radiation of 2D electrons from the first excited quantum-well subband at a GaAs-AlGaAs single heterojunction. These oscillations are explained in terms of an elastic relaxation of electrons upon a crossing of corresponding Landau levels of different subbands.
