D'Agostino, S and Paoloni, C (2000) Analysis of high-efficiency multistage depressed collectors based on the 3-D finite-element method. Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 27 (4). pp. 275-278. ISSN 0895-2477Full text not available from this repository.
An important feature in the realization of modem TWTs is the design of high-efficiency multistage depressed collectors. The results presented in this letter show that the 3-D finite-element method provides an excellent and fast means for the simulation of complex structures. An axisymmetrical four-stage collector and an asymmetrical four-stage collector are presented and simulated, showing the 3-D mesh distribution and the electron trajectory plots.
