Abstract
The EC Framework 6 network of excellence (NoE) in design for micro and nano manufacture (PATENT -DfMM) was launched in January 2004 with 6.2M of funding over 4 years. There are 24 partners in the project that engages 150 researchers across Europe. This paper summarises the activities and status of the modelling simulation cluster within the NoE together with a vision for 2006 and 2007
