From Old Times to New Europe: the Polish Struggle for Democracy and Constitutionalism, Polish constitutional and legal developments and their legal philosophical contexts starting with the pre-war period in 1918 are considered. Using Polish and Russian archival materials, the monograph examines the post-totalitarian legal framework in today's Europe, arguing that the study of totalitarianism, and post-totalitarianism, continues to be as significant as ever.
