Abstract
Granqvist and Claeson of the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg report in a recent issue of Physical Review Letters (31,456; 1973) that they have observed some interesting new structure in the current-voltage characteristics of superconducting tunnel junctions which may, they suggest, be attributable to the stimulated emission of phonons.
