Abstract
Unlike political literature, scientific manuscripts only rarely received their first publication a long time after being written, but The Theory of Quantum Liquids volume II on Bose superfluids is an important exception. The text was written in 1962 but, for some mysterious reason - the explanations offered by the authors in their Special Preface seem less than completely convincing - not published until now.
