Abstract
Injection of currents exceeding 10^-7 A of electrons and positive ions into liquid 3He from a fine metal tip is reported. The I-T and I-V characteristics have been studied in the range 0 < V < 3000 V, 0.3 < T < 1.1 K, and are strikingly different from those observed in 4He.
