Abstract
Λb polarization measurement offers an unique opportunity to understand hyperon production mechanisms and the anomalously large inclusive polarizations measured at lower energies, and to test HQET Factorization and PQCD models. This paper describes the initial phase of a review of the technical feasibility of measuring the polarization of Λb hyperons from the decay in the ATLAS experiment.
