| Additional Information: | The book is supported by an original R library (smida), which contains novel computational implementations of the methods described in the book. Original statistical methodology can be found in Chapter 3, particularly regarding the optimal design for dual-channel microarrays, in Chapter 6 regarding several extensions of partitioning around medoids methods, in Chapter 8 regarding a proof on Bayesian FDR control and subsequent implementations. Furthermore, novel applications of existing statistical methodology as described in the book has had a substantial impact within the field through raising awareness of the importance of statistics within high-dimensional gene transcription studies.
