Additional Information: This paper is one of number resulting from collaboration on the analysis of interactive art as part of the EQUTOR IRC, which has included both conceptual and formal modelling focussed on understanding the nuanced nature of audience and performer in interactive and performance art. This paper applies the framework and techniques of some of our earlier works and applies them to Uncle Roy Around You, a major urban arts event. As well as having impact for understanding artistic events, the concepts developed in this and related work are being applied to related areas such as bystander experience around public displays.
